display down

i have trouble with the display after i install automatic
windows xp update
after i turn on computer ,after windows xp display ,it
came user name display,right?
but suddenly the screen go off for 2 second ,like no power
but it came back on the user display after 2 second lost
and working normally
so what im suppose to do ?
i do restore the program same like before i install
windows update but the same happen again
soory for the language
my inggris is not very good
