Every time I boot, XP Pro tells me it has updates. Today I decided to go
ahead and install them. Part way through through the process I got a message
I can't recall, which ended everything.
Ever since then I can not sign into messenger. It prompts for my password,
and goes into a 'loop'. The browser URL says it's opening the hotmail site,
but it just keeps refreshing itsself. I've reinstalled messenger to no
avail. I get the same problem if I go to www.passport.net.
Any ideas?
