Well, no offense, but I think you're missing the point.
Like I said, there's no problem deleting the empty folder
after rebooting. The point is, we shouldn't have to reboot
(into normal mode OR into Safe mode, simply to be able to
delete an empty folder. It makes no sense whatsoever.
There's something inherently screwed up with an OS that
takes more than simply clicking on an empty folder and
selecting 'delete'.
