BEFSX41 & Messenger

We have purchased the BEFSX41 because of its firewalling features and
UPNP support since we used MSN messenger. However we cannot seem to
get video or audio transmission to work behind this thing. We have
followed their FAQ on it and have the latest firmware installed 1.44.3
12/24/02. Can anyone please help us with this situation as this is
highly important we get these features working.

I use LINKSYS , cable modem and XP Windows Messenger ... you need to pin
hole your router to open the required ports.

Under forwarding:

5004 - 65535 opened as TCP and UDP

I use Zone Alarm to give some additional protection when the router is
opened. Set to Medium Secure

May also try puting your computer Ip Address in the DMZ if you use Zone
Alarm. Never open without some form of firewall ...
