Windows Messenger all of a sudden is attempting to log on
automatically when I start Messenger and a wrong password
is being used, which when I try to manually log in, I
cannot because of too many "wrong" attempts. The box is
not checked to automatically sign in. This just started
about 3 weeks ago.

Greetings Michael,
To turn off this wrong automatic login, click the Start Button, then click the Control Panel.
Then, click User Accounts in the Control Panel. Select your account name, and then on the
left side of the screen, under Related Tasks, click 'Manage my Network Passwords'. In the
window that opens, click the Passport.Net\* (Passport) entry and click 'Remove'.
