messenger update that does not allow coms.

Since upgrading to window messenger 5 I have been unable
to sign in and keep getting error messages with regard
to name,password etc......till i upgrade everything was
fine and it was a joy to be able to com in real time with
my family and friends now back to old email.

Greetings Paul,

Windows Messenger 5 is not publicly available, unless you're on the beta program (in which
case you should be posting to the beta newsgroup). The easiest way to fix this would be to
use System Restore to go back to your old Messenger version. To do so, click Start, then
Help & Support, then "Undo changes to my computer using System Restore" and follow the wizard
to restore back to a before the upgrade.
