icons

i need help getting the icons on my desktop smaller.i
have tried going into the control panel but that wont
work.i like the small icons on the desktop and start menu
and taskbar.can someone help me with this problem.thank

On desktop, Right-click on any empty space, then select "Properties".
Next choose "Appearance" and "Advanced". On the window that pops up,
click the little black triangle just to the right of where it says
"Desktop" to get a list of things you can work with. Select "icon"
and you can set the size.

For the Start Menu, right click the Start button> Properties> Start Menu
Tab> Customize.

Sorry, can't help with Desktop and Taskbar.
