Install Shield Crash

I'm installing Grand Theft Auto Vice City for the PC and
the install shield setup launcher crashes as soon as I run
the setup.exe file. Is there someway I can reinstall
installshield in case I buggered the file up?

InstallShield is just the installation engine - it doesn't have to be
"installed." Usually when InstallShield crashes it is because a) the
CD is scratched or dirty, or b) you have something running that
conflicts with it. Make sure you have admin rights on the system and
try shutting down some items from the systray (click on the (<) button
near the clock to make sure you can see all of them) and try your
install again.
