Upgraded this macnine the other day, from Windows Me to Windows XP Home. It
placed MSN Messenger 5.0 here instead of Windows Messenger. However, the MSN
Messenger 5.0 has all of the functions and such that Windows Messenger has.
I was not aware that such existed. I did now about 5.0, but thought it was
associated with operating systems other than XP, but would run on XP, with
out all the functions.

Greetings Joel,
I told you before that MSN Messenger 5 works on XP with all the functions that XP has *grin*.
Windows Messenger is probably still there, check \Program Files\Messenger.

You did???, well that just shows that I am getting old and forgetful. I did
know that MSN Messenger 5.0 worked on XP, but did not know that a upgrade
would put it there. Well, I have in Program Files a "Messenger" and a
"MSN Messenger" so there are two but it does not say Windows Messenger.
However only the MSN Messenger shows on the Desktop and that is what I am
using and it works, so whatever works.
