You have 4 new Emails

the problem i have is that when start Win xp home
messager starts also. That in itself is fine but while
messager is starting I get that Email alert saying "you
have 10 new emails" or whatever can anyone tell me how to
disable this. Or when i get a new email it pops up saying
you have a new email from Live Girls online or save 50%
on your loans today. It gets to me. In the windows
messager help it tells to
Click tools then options then preferences but that does
not give the option of disabling that feature.

Try unselecting the MSN option under Tools/Add-Ins in Windows Messenger
