BTW, my search function is all but useless. It either locks up
completely or take so long to be unusable. Any ideas? I am about ready
to just write my own explorer or get a third party and not use MS
explorer at all. Thanks.

Show the hidden files and folders

Rightclick C:\Windows\Inf\srchasst.inf

Click install.

The required file is in ../I386 folder on the XP CD
