Hi,
Is there any way for burning CDs without the XP's extra
process of creating a CD image first?
Many thanks

Hi,
WinXP's burning routine is very limited, and is not really configurable. =
For that sort of functionality, you should check into a full-fledged =
burning program. You can find some unbiased reviews here: www.cdrfaq.org
For more details on the native burning program, check this article from =

All burning programs that write in sessions will "master" a CD image
before writing it.
If you want to treat a CDR or CDRW as a big floppy, use a packet writing
program such as InCD or DirectCD. NOTE: If using CDRs with these
programs be sure your drive is capable of reading multisession CDs. Most
newer burners do. Older ones may not.
