I'm using the XP Home edition and C-Media sound system=20
and ViaVoice 9. I installed MemTurbo yesterday, and it=20
zapped some files associated with the microphone. I=20
reinstalled ViaVoice 9, but since the microphone doesn't=20
work, it can't sample my voice, resulting that it freezes=20
up. Have to reboot each time. Audio out works fine, and=20
everything else in the system, but the microphone files=20
or drivers are probably corrupted. Tried two microphones,=20
same result.

Any suggestion will be appreciated,

1) Uninstall MemTurbo....it is a useless program to use with XP.

2) Reboot into SAFE MODE (F8).

3) Open XP's System Restore program and select a Restore Point that
was created prior to your problem becoming known.

[Start > Programs > Accessories > System Tools > System Restore]
