msn problems

i am having probs not getting into msn and msnchatroom.i
havent been to the chatroom for few weeks cause msn
doesnt open up.xtramsn can get in as far as the different
room but not actually into the room i want.they keeps
saying i had to sign in first. so i got the same messages
as the others.help

Greetings Val,

Firstly, verify that your computer's date and time has been set correctly. To do so, just
double-click the clock in the corner of the screen, and verify that the day, month and year
is set correctly.

Then, if you haven't already, clear your Internet Explorer cache and cookies -- open Internet
Explorer, click the Tools menu, then Internet Options, then click the Delete Files button,
and when that's complete click the Delete Cookies button. Then try accessing it again.

If that doesn't work, click Start, then Run, and enter the following:
regsvr32 jscript.dll
and click OK.
Then, click Start again, then Run, and enter the following:
regsvr32 softpub.dll

Then try accessing it again.
