Couple weeks ago I installed McAfee Internet Security 5.0
I followed the instructions very closely.During the
installation I had to provide a pass word, which I did.
After the installation it asked for my password I typed
ii in, then it said it was invalid. I couldn't do any
thing, I uninstalled all of it except the firewall and
virus scan. I now have two mesenger installed, 5 and
don't know what the other one is. When the messenger
screen comes up at start I click on sign in, nothing
happens. I click on messenger at top of screen, and drop
down box comes up and I go to click sign it turns
completly blue and nothing happens. I go to programs and
there are two messengers, I click messenger 5 and nothing
happens. I click the other and messenger will come up but
can' sign in, click messenger down on the bottom of
screen and messenger will come up with my e-mail
address, and it is connected but have to go to top of
screen to get the box to come up to chat with some one. I
have also had the box to come up to put in my pass word
and I have clicke the box to have it signed in on start
up but it will not do it. I went to the control panel to
add or remove programs but it only list messenger 5. If I
restore my computer to an earlier date will it correct
the problem and what will I lose, and how can I find out
the exact date I installed Internet Security? I can't
seem to find any help.
