Messenger whiteboard

I cannot get messenger whiteboard to work. When I try,
with another XP OS user, I get an error message...

0x80ee000c
sip transaction timed out

Does anyone have a solution? This problem seems to occur
with every XP user I know whether trying to use it with me
or with other people. No-on has managed to use it yet.

We ensured we each had Windows Messenger 4.7 installed but
it didn't help.

Hi,

Both you and your contact should try turning off the Internet Connection Firewall -- to do
so, click Start, then click the Control Panel. If you're in category view click Network and
Internet connections then click Network Connections. Right click your network/internet
connection, then click Properties. Click the Advanced Tab, and verify that the Internet
Connection Firewall is unchecked.
