Messenger XP Auto Sign-on

At first the auto sign-on works fine, but on some
computers the feature stops working and you must sign in
manually. Re-install does not work.

Do you have a passport ID associated with your Windows XP user account?
To add one go to your Start > Control Panel > User Accounts
and then click on your user account and then click on the Set up my account
to use a .NET Passport.
