HI,
I have the exact same problem with my messenger (4.7plus!
under XP home), also with chatserverconnections.
I know the couse off the problem, but have no(t yet) a
solution!
When u typ in ur dos-prompt : ipconfig/all (enter) u will
get a conection overvieuw, inthere (bottomlines) is when
u got ur last ip lease from the dhcp server and when it
runs out again,it gets "refreshed" every 1-2 hours.
Check if ur messenger disconnects on that exact moment
mine does it almost everytime.
I hope u ll let me know if u find a solution, i keep u
updated!
kind regards,
Johan
