Hello,

I recently built a new system with an Asus P4S8X-X mobo, 512mb Crucial
PC2700 Ram CAS 2.5, 80GB WD Hard drive(Partitioned into 2 NTFS
partitions with Partition Magic), Visiontek Gf3 Ti-200, LiteOn 52x
CDRW, LiteOn 16x DVD, Antec True480 PS, running WinXP Pro SP1 & Norton
AV 2003. Sometimes when I go into "My Computer" and right click on my
C: hard disk icon, the computer gives me a blue screen error
"Page_Fault_In_Nonpaged_Area, Stop: 0x00000050 (0xFD31B000,
0x00000000, 0x804EF46E, 0x00000000). This doesn't always happen but it
has happened about 2 or 3 times in as many weeks since I have had the
system up and running.

I have searched for this error on google and in the microsoft
knowledge base and the reasons for this error seem to be: faulty
hardware, incorrect ram CAS settings, incorrect cpu voltage settings,
a buggy system service, antivirus software, and a corrupted NTFS
volume. I ran chkdsk on my hard disk, then ran memtest86 on my memory
and no errors were reported. I have also run SANDRA 2003 and AIDA32
looking for any hardware errors but I could find none. I checked my
bios and the CPU voltage and ram speed settings are all set
automatically to the correct settings, so I didn't touch them. My cpu
and mobo seem to be running cool at 24c and 30c respectively. What
should I try next to troubleshoot this, and what else could be causing
this? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
