I run XP Home on a 1.5GHz HP Pavillion with loads of free
capacity. I have used video conferencing using Messenger
for some time, no problems. I recently upgraded to the
latest version of Messenger, after which my Logitech
WebCam no longer works. When I try to go to a chat room
it tells me that my camera is not working. I try to
download new chat software that it offers me on entering
the chat area but it never comes. My camera works fine
in everything else. It checks out OK using the device
manager. The driver is embedded in XP and, to the best
of my knowledge, is not a problem. Any suggestions to
restore my sanity in this matter would be appreciated.
