Could someone tell me the difference between Windows Messenger and MSN
Messenger??

I can't understand why a company would support 2 different clients for it's
own network.

The last question.. Why XP SP1 came with WM4.7, if it's already outdated ?

Thank you!

Eduardo

WM 4.0 => WM 4.7 => WM 5.0 => WM 6.0 etc.

MSNM 4.0 => MSNM 5.0 => MSNM 6.0 etc.

WM is NOT only for corporate use, I wish that statement would go away. It is
not true.

MSN Messenger is more for the home/consumer oriented users. And offers
additional 'fun/customizable' features that is more suited for home/consumer
users.

Windows Messenger is more for the corperate users. It not only supports
regular .NET Passport Accounts but it also supports SIP Communications
Services, and Instant Messaging through the Exchange Instant Messaging
service..

Windows Messager 4.7 Build (4.7.2009) is the latest version.
