I have added a computer that runs Windows XP Pro on a
network with 10 computers running Windows 98. We use
winpopup to communicate with each other internally. How
can I utilize MS Messenger on the XP machine to
communicate with the other computers using winpopup?

Greetings Steve,
Windows XP doesn't have winpopup. However, you can use the "net send" command to send
"winpopup" type messages. To do so, click the Start button, then click Run, and enter:
net send computername themessage
Where the computername is the computer name of the person you're sending to, and themessage
is the message you want to send.
If you want an interface to do all this, check out Lantalk XP:

You can't utilize MS Messenger to do it. You should use something like
WinMessenger (http://www.winmessenger.com).
