I have learned that my DSL modem is using NAT. Does this
mean I can not send photo's???

Greetings Jeff,
Unless you can turn off the NAT in the DSL modem (unlikely) or if the modem has some support
of firmware update to support Universal Plug and Play (UPnP), then no, you can't send files
(photos or otherwise).
