When I try to run the "Add Hardware" wizard it reports following error
message:

"You can only install one device at a time. Another device installation is
underway, when it is finished you can try this wizard again."

However, I am not in the process of installing any other devices and no
error messages or question marks appear in the device manager. Therefore, I
cannot tell what is causing the problem. Have tried several sources -
nobody able to help. ... Bill K

Hi WIlliam,

And if you reboot the system, does this still occur? Normally, this =
error message occurs when a hardware detection scheme has not run to =
completion.
