Within the last week, the search function, engine? for my
Internet Explorer has changed. It is labeled "LOP.COM"
and also there is a search bar that comes up everytime I
log on the is labeled "//k26217......" on the bottom of
the screen.
I don't want either and want to get the old one back and
the bottom bar off. My kids were playing around with the
computer last week and I don't know if something they did
changed it.

Greetings Eric,
It sounds like they've installed something with spyware. To fix this, download a spyware
remover like Adaware:
http://www.lavasoft.de/support/download/
After AdAware has installed, scanned and removed any spyware, use System Restore to return to
your original settings. Click Start, then Help & Support, then "Undo changes to my computer
using System Restore" and then go through the wizard to restore back to a previous day when
you knew all the settings were correct.
