I have the same problem with messenger 4.7. I use a
logitec camera as well and it worked fine and then
stopped working. I can't communicate anymore with anyone
via voice or camera. I can't even get a connection to see
or hear the people I used to talk to . Did you get any
response? Please let me know..
Thanks
Gene

try the audio tuning wizard. After updating, sometimes the settings
regarding camera and microphone need to be reset. This has worked for
me.....

The latest is that I sent a query to Microsoft. I told
them about the problem which occurred after I downloaded
the latest version of Windows Messenger and MSN Messenger.
They said they were aware of the problem and were working
on it. They suggested a work-around - try downloading the
latest version of MSN Messenger! One wonders if they even
bother to read beyond the heading before sending a form
response. Having received that, I sent it on to Logitech
to see if they were aware of the issue (as Microsoft said
they were). They too sent a form response suggesting I
download their latest driver. It was HUGE. Nonetheless I
tried it, but all I got was an error message saying the
generated file was corrupt. So I'm no further ahead. Now
if I want to use the camera I have to use PalTalk or Yahoo
Messenger. Seems their programmes are more reliable than
Microsoft's.
