DV Camcoder for Video conversation

My Webcam works fine for Window Messenger 4.7 in Win XP Pro. Can I, instead,
use my Sony DV Camera for video conversation? If yes, How?

You may be able to.

First, if you don't have Windows XP Service Pack 1 already installed, install this patch:
http://support.microsoft.com/?scid=kb;en-us;Q310507

Then go into Windows Messenger and try going through the Audio (and Video) Tuning Wizard
again (click Tools, then Options, then Audio Tuning Wizard). If you get an error (device in
use, etc.) then this probably won't work.
