Hi, Evertime I use the "quick scan" button in my norton system works,
"one button checkup" it finds 22 errors in the windows registry. It
then "fixes them" but i can go back on line and two minutes later, I
have 22 errors again. Will these go away ever or stay untill next year
when I'm told I need a more expensive Utilities repair system?
Any help appreciated.....Windows XP, AOL, Norton System works 2003
Thanks
Bob

>> Wow Testy, You were right!!! I uninstalled all the norton stuff,
and now there is no quick check button to push. My problem went away!
Plus as a bonus my home page has changed to a blank screen and I can
no longer de cypher (read) anything thats on my computer and all my
email addy's are calling me saying that they recieved an email from me
that made their system crash! Thanks for all your insight into fixin
problems and helping others. Keep up the good work!!! It's like
magic...now ya got it, now ya don't.. Thanks for the memorial day
present....I sent all my stuff back to Norton with a copy of your
reply to get my money back! Uh, uh, my screen is doin' something weird
again, maybe its SARS...(a Virus, get it?). Gotta go

Glad to help Bob, hope you get your refund soon. Being from Toronto, I am
well aware of SARS. I haven't gotten that nor any other virus. Enjoy YOUR
holiday.
