Windows Updates hangs

[Striker]

Whenever I pick what updates I want I click "Install" then the "Accept"
dialog comes up and I click "Accept" The status window comes up and just
hangs there. No downloading starts. I have to exit out. It has been doing
this for about a week now. At first I thought it was the site being down but
now I don't think so. Anyone know what my problem might be? Thanks,

There are a lot of reasons why you can`t download and install windows
updates.
