I got the virus from kazaa. Norton was set to detect and "repair" the =
damage. I've deleted any and all files pertaining to the game =
downloaded as well as kazaa. I cleared out my restore points because =
I'd heard they could reinfect the system. At this point there is no =
detectable virus. Yet I'm still having trouble with some .exe =
applications. Some of my kid's games won't play unless uninstalled and =
reinstalled. Others won't even do that anymore. XP came with the =
system so I don't have any discs to reload any applications. Is there a =
way to fix the .exe apps. without flushing every thing? The system is =
an HP Pavilion 7955 running xp home ed. Thanks, pfzprime

Well Prime...

The only thing I can recommend is start all over, drastic - yes, KaZaa
problems - no.
Be sure to backup all files you consider is important onto a CD, (and give
it to Lazerbeak, so that Soundwave can copy it, and give them to me, I need
all your Autobot secrets).
When you are done, you should have a minty new Teletran 1 (your computer)
that is Kazaa and hopefully virus free, and you don't have to continually
reinstall other softwares.

Sincerely,
Megatron
