Hello!

I uninstalled dreamweaver mx using the add/remove prog
from the ctrl panel. 'Coz my hard disk space is running
out.

But after uninstall, the free hdd space didn't increase!
The dreamweaver folder is gone but the disk space isn't
freed.

I read that windows xp (what i'm using) stores a backup
of uninstall programs. Is that true? If so, how do I
*completely* uninstall my programs and their backups?

(I also uninstalled other programs, with same problem.)

Hope to get a reply. Thanks!

Mike;
Run Disk Cleanup checking all boxes except "Compress old files"
Reboot.
While in Disk Clean-up, select "More Options"
Click "Clean-up" under System Restore to delete all but the most
recent Restore Point.

Your welcome Mike.
Some of that space will fill again depending on your system Restore
settings.
As long as System Restore is working properly, it is not necessary to
clear System Restore.
See here for more about System Restore and how you can set it to meet
your needs:
