Well when I want to login to Windows Messenger I got the messae that my
password is incorrect or my login does not exist, but it does and the
password is OK!

I checked it via www on login.passport.com - evrything works fine - I
even changed my password but still messenger desn't log on :(

well I'm behind a http proxy but settings in connection option are OK (I
think so)

What to do? I need my Messenger..... ;)

Greetings,

Are you sure the HTTP proxy settings are correct? Try turning off the proxy setting (Tools
menu, Options, Connection tab in Messenger), depending on your network, Messenger may
actually be able to connect on its own.

I'm sure - when I'm turning off proxy it doesn't want to connect at all!
I'm also behind a firewall and on direct connect this ports are blocked
:( so only proxy can help me....

Hi,

What if you try another client that supports Messenger (say, Trillian --
http://www.trillian.cc, which does support HTTP proxies as well), see if you can connect
using that. If that doesn't work, try making a new Passport (http://register.passport.net)
or Hotmail account (http://hotmail.msn.com) and see if you can connect using a new account.
If you can't do either, I'd say whoever is in charge of your connection may be blocking
Messenger in some way.
