I am a hong kong people, normally using chinese language.

I have a English version windows xp, it has been installed some Chinese
applications, due to run those application properly, i set the "change the
Language for non-Unicode Programs" to Hong Kong. After then i have one
program, it cannot run again, i know it is because i change the option to
Hong Kong ( it should be a English). it is very trouble because when i run
the program, i need to change the setting to English, and i want to run
another chinese program, i need to roll back the setting to Hong Kong.

i want to ask, can i set only the program use English for non-Unicode
Program, another program use a Chinese...

Set up another user, and use the Chinese program and Chinese unicode in that
profile.

Hi,

Create a separate user for using Chinese language and Unicode. Log on as a
new user, who is going to use Chinese language.

Step 1: Install East Asian languages and set the keyboard layout:

Please follow the steps mentioned in the following URL

http://www.microsoft.com/globaldev/handson/user/xpintlsupp.mspx

Step 2: Configuring to One user profile:

Select Regional and Language Options under Control panel. Click on Advanced
Tab and check the selection box for Default user account settings. So this
language profile is assigned only to this particular user. Other users will
not get affected.

Hope this helps.
