Messenger signing on by itself

After recently updating to Windows Messenger 4.7 I have
noticed that it signs itself online without me wanting it
to. I am using a broadband service, so my internet
conncetion is always active. I have looked and looked for
the option to keep this from happening, but can not find
it. Please e-mail me with any suggestions on how to stop
this. I do not want my messenger to sign online unless I
am at the computer and do it myself.
