Hi, I am running a WinXP Pro server with no ICF on any computers on
the network. The XP server is running UPNP ICS for all computers on
the network. All computers on the network are unable to send files
via messenger. They are all able to using Netmeeting. All other
messenger features work fine. Using 'netstat -a' it seems the
transfer does not even attempt to open a port? The people trying to
recieve the files are not behind any proxy/firewalls. No firewalls
are involved, yet nothing seems to allow messenger to send files.
What could be blocking it?
There is also a problem connecting to mIRC using port 6667 (default).
Are these problems related?
I have a quest to resolve this problem...but I can't do it alone :)
