View Full Version : not accessible

I get the following error when I double click on one of my computers in My
Network Places:

PS Computer is not the real name.

\\Computer is not accessible. You might not have permission to use this
network resource. Contact the administrator of this server to find out if
you have access permissions.

Logon failure: the user has not been granted the requested logon type at the
computer.

The computer I have trouble accessing is XP Home. And it can access all the
other computers on the network (all XP HOME and one PRO) without difficulty.

Here are a couple of facts:
Guest account is disabled on all computers.
The username and computername on COMPUTER are the same.

Hope you all reply soon because this is quite annoying as I want to share a
printer on COMPUTER

oh, and remember again, COMPUTER is not the real name, the real name is 4
letters long.

Right it says:
To protect your computer from unauthorized access, sharing the root of a
drive is not recommended.

(HYPERLINK) If you understand the risk but still want to share the root of
the drive, click here.
