Does Windows Messenger really work with Windows XP
installed? I have done about everything to get it to work
as it is suppose to. What I mean by that is nobody I am
trying to have a voice contact with cannot hear my voice.
I can hear them but I must type my replies. I am on a new
computer and previously had no problems on my old
computer using Windows 98. Can anyone help me? By the way
there are no firewalls installed, there are no IRQ
conflicts, I have downloaded all Windows updates, drivers
etc.

Since we do not really know your configuration, I will ask one, which might
seem stupid, but have you ran the Audio Tuning Wizard?

It works on some XP machines and not on others. I have
the same symptoms on one machine but it works fine on two
others. They don't know what the problem is.
