Hi All
My problem here is a bit complicated and it is not about windows xp
specially
I have windows xp installed on my machine's hard disk drive on drive D:
which is a NTFS drive and I have also windows 98 installed on my drive C:
which is a FAT drive

the problem arises when I wanted to format drive D: which contains the
windows xp system to reinstall windows xp again (I need to make a clear new
installation on an empty drive)
and I don't know how to access the NTFS drive and format it and start a new
installation which will not be avaialbe through windows 98 that can't deal
with the NTFS drives

thanks in advance
Dre,

One option is to boot to win9x floppy, and use FDisk to remove and recreate the
(non-dos) partition. Another is to boot to XP CD, and use the Advanced setup
option offered to remove and create a new partition.
