windows XP PRO and games

I got a problem with windows xp pro two actually.
1. when I'm playing games online or off it freezes up
with a blue screen and makes a high pitched noise and I'm
forced to reset my pc. I've heard it's called the blue
screen of death, but this happens every day and my pc is
brand new.

2. My games seem to crash for no reason and with no error
message or nothing. They just crash and send me back to
my desktop, some games I have are O.F.P. and BF1942.

I have directx 9.0a and all drivers are updated. What can
I do to slove this problems.

Hi,

These problems come when the drivers of the game are not
compatible with XP or if there is any driver conflict.
You can check for any device conflict in Device manager.
Make sure that the drivers are only XP compatible.

Also make sure that the display adapter is the upgraded
version for XP and remove old drivers.
