A friend of mine is having a problem with his hard drive.
He installed Windows XP on his computer and now his hard
drive only shows less then 8 Gigs (he has a 40 gig hard
drive installed). Does anybody know where the other 32
gigs is, it went MIA or something. Any help would be
appreciated.
Thanks
Josh

Did your friend format the other 32 MB of his drive?

No problem:

Right-click on My Computer and select Manage.
In the left pane, select Disk Management. The Disk Management snap-in will
open in the right pane.
On the bottom is a graphical view of the entire hard disk.
Right-click anywhere in the unallocated space and select Format.

WARNING: Be sure not to format the 8 GB partition that already exists.

Then go have a cold one to celebrate.
