Yesterday, I installed the latest Windows XP update (Home
edition) automatically, as I have done since I purchased
my IBM Thinkpad 8 months ago. Prior to installing this
update, I could use my 10-key pad (which is installed in
my CD-ROM bay) without having to press the [NumLk] key.
This is handy because with the [NumLk] key depressed,
some of the keys on the keyboard recognize numbers
instead of letters. (For example, the "U" key becomes
a "4", etc.) Anyway, since I installed the latest XP
update, I cannot use the 10-key pad and the full keyboard
at the same time. Is there any way to fix this?
Thanks for your help.
