does msn messenger 5.0 work with exchange yet or will it? i am usinmg 4.7 at
work and would like to go to 5.0. but what i download is only for .NET

Unfortunately no, MSN Messenger 5 (and the upcoming MSN Messenger 6) do not support Exchange.
Windows Messenger is the only supporting client for Exchange now (since Exchange is a Windows
based technology, not a MSN one).
