windows explorer problem

Can anyone help me? Windows Explorer encounters a
problem and shuts down whenever I open the Explorer
program, or folders such as My Documents. The problem
originally began when using Kodak Easy Share Picture
software. I uninstalled the program, but the Windows
Explorer problem continues.

If you have your Windows CD, put it in the drive and then go to Start>Run
and type in

sfc /scannow

and let the system file checker verify and repair any files that are
corrupted. Note that you may have to re-download and install some Windows
Updates after doing this.
