Stubborn Browser

Having trouble wiht MSN 8 dial-in. Everytime I log on
then log out, the MSN 8 dial-up window contiues to pop
up. This continues until I restore to an earlier time
before the problem. However it occurs again if I log onto
MSN then sign off....MSN 8 conneciton screen keps poping
up. ITs as if there is a progrma that is continually
trying ot dial into the internet. I've run Ad-Aware and
Norton anti-virus but nothing shows up. Any suggesitons?

PS: Win XP Home Edditon with lates critical updates
installed.

You probably have OE set to check for mail every few minutes (OE, tools,
options), and IE set to connect when a connection is not present (IE, tools,
options, connection tab)
