netmeeting

We have just added a new windows xp computer to my household. We could use
netmeeting before on the old one with xp (initiated from other person only).
However, now on the new one we can see and hear the other person, but they
cannot see or hear us. We have checked everything we can think of. We even
downloaded most recent windows messenger and MSN messenger. Neither one
works. Help!!!

You might just need to turn off your Internet Connection Firewall in Windows XP. To do so,
click Start, then click the Control Panel. If you're in category view click Network and
Internet connections then click Network Connections. Right click the network/internet
connection, then click Properties. Click the Advanced Tab, and verify that the Internet
Connection Firewall is unchecked.
