Having those two together really messes the OS up.
It shouldnt have been done,but the two are lookalikes.
Go to control-panel,add/remove,windows components,try
unchecking the box,restart computer,uninstall first in
add/remove programs.Then after restart,go to microsoft.
com,downloads,install Windows Messenger for XP,you
should go to messenger site,dwnload in open mode.Both
are important for mssnger.
