i have a number of folders on the desktop containing many
files. When I tried to click on these last night, all
that happened was that a window containing all the
desktop icons appeared. I tried to click on the folder
in there and nothing happened. Couldn't locate any of
the files. Then the computer started to make a terrible
rattling noise! After starting and restarting a few
times it sorted itself out. Any ideas what happened?
