I have a new motherboard arriving tomorrow(hopefully). it's an Asus
A7V8X-X. I assume there will be a driver disk supplied.

I realise that I will have to do a repair install of XP to rebuild the
hardware compatibility list.

My question is: if the MB comes with a driver disk, should I:

1. press 'F6' and later press 'S' to load the supplied drivers during the
install?

2. leave the installer to sort out microsoft drivers and later install the
Asus supplied drivers.?

3. forget the Asus supplied drivers completely?

Anyone with experience of this board?

TIA
Dave

Being this is a new MB I would use the installation disk wizard and install
the drivers (USB, sound , video etc.) More than likely they will all be XP
compatable.
