View Full Version : Unable to run Windows XP Home

After replacing my MB and Processor, Windows no longer
loads. I've tried Safe Mode, Last Known Good Config and
Normal. None work. A Blue screen with lots of text
appears for a brief second then the machine reboots and
the process starts all over again.

MB-AOpen AX4C Max
CPU-Intel P4 2.4GHz
RAM-2x256 DDR 2100 CL2
40GB WD HDD @ 100

Is my only solution to do a reinstall/repair of Windows?

Jason;
You just replaced the motherboard and processor, there is no Last
known good configuration, that applies to the old hardware.
You need to perform a Repair Installation to properly detect the new
hardware:
