Im having a problem with my windows XP pro and I hope someone can
help.. about 75% of the time I will start up my computer and when the
windows desktop comes up, the machine will be VERY slow for a few
minutes and I can access the start menu or even bring the task bar up
(I havr it set to autohide). after a few minutes I can access it but I
notice some program have not loaded properly.. one of them in Norton
internet security (there are a bunch of others). It says its running
if I do a ctrl-alt-del but its not in the system tray and I cant
unhide the icon.. if I go into the start menu and then to the norton
internet security, it tells me it is diabled and only an administrator
can change settings (I am the admin and there is only one user on my
system).. I then have to go to the start memnu and LOGOFF and then LOG
BACK on as myself and then everything works.. any ideas how to fix
this? I bave it set NOT to bring up the login screen when I turn on
the computer
